Elizabethtown
I laughed, I cried and I felt nervous. Only truly amazing movies manage to make me feel the characters' emotions. Elizabethtown did. I saw the movie on openning night. Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst had a good chemistry on screen. The music, chosen by writer/director Cameron Crowe brings such a good vibe to the film. It's dark at times, especially at the beginning, but he managed to present it in a "lighter" way. The story is filled with life messages. Strong messages. And there were so many good quotations that I wish I had brought a pen and paper to write some of them down. I did extra effort to remember one that I found very meaningful. It's said by Claire, Kirsten Dunst's character.
"I'm impossible to forget, but I'm hard to remember." I might try and catch the movie in theaters a second time. I'm definitely buying it when it comes out. Other than the amazing movie experience (the theater was packed by the way), I'm spending my weekend working and doing research for a class project. This is a crazy time of year in University. Papers are due, there's a ton of reading to do, and you have to write midterms. My two journalism classes are especially demanding. I'm giving my second interview this week. I'll get through it. :) Thanks Jac and Kass for the comments and feedback about my quote. Have a nice week everyone.

I'm in over my head with readings and papers to write. I barely had a weekend. I spent all Sunday working on a research study. I'm still doing right now... and it's 10pm (I came back from a class @ 9pm). Ahh! But I'm organized, I think this are going well.
I am back online after a short break... wow that film seems really powerful and inspiring.... I'll HAVE to see it. I had always wanted to but you make it sound like it needs to be seen. :)
Man, goodluck with your uni work, the load seems really heavy!. I am studying for exams still and grinding my teeth in nerves... I just sat a 4-hr exam and the whole class was stuck through it, it was very hard, I did not even finish it. :( jac xxx
Hi!
Elisabethtown really seems like a sweet movie. I'd have to see it sometime...;) On another note, I just wanted to advise you that there were really anoying advertizers and popups on Little Corner of the World. Normally they don't bug me that much, but some of them just won't go away, and then I'm not able to read the page entirely... Just thought you'd like to know :) Good luck with your studies! Kass
Hi Kass. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the advertisements on Little Corner. I am hosted by Rajiv at EFanGuide. He's a really nice guy, who hosts many fan sites like mine. He hosts for free, so he uses advertisements as revenue. I have a popup blocker by IExplorer on one computer, and one from Google on another. It works fine. I only get 1 pop-up per page, so it's not that bad.

I wish I had time and money to get my own domain, but unfortunately, I don't. << Home Archives:
