A week has gone by...
12/12/2005 11:24:00 AM

With nothing very exciting to report. Classes ended last monday, and then I spent the week working on papers, projects and research reports. It sure is different from all the studying I usually have to do. I actually spent 92 hours inside my house without coming out. I didn't plan it, or force it. It just happenned. I came in monday night at 9pm and only left the house on friday night around 5pm. I should have stayed a little longer and reach 100hrs. lol.

Saturday morning was my last day at work before the holidays. For those who don't know, I teach cooking classes to children at the local french community centre. I've been teaching there for 3 years. I taught arts on previous years, but there was a lot of interest for the cooking class this year, they added more classes, and I teach them all. I organized a bake sale with my level 2 class, and we made a total of 76$. It's amazing, I didn't expect to make this much.

I left work and went directly to my babysitting job. I looked after two really nice girls, 9 and 11, all weekend. To watch them isn't like working at all. We baked some cookies, watched movies, played games, played in the snow. Ok, I wouldn't do it every weekend, but it's a good way to make some extra money... and feel good about yourself too. The girls really enjoyed their weekend. I was glad to hear that.

Now I have a busy week ahead. I have three projects/reports to hand in. I also have plans with a guy I only recently met, on friday. He's the brother of a friend. I don't usually make plans with people I barely know, so I'm a little anxious. But I expect for it to go well, so I won't think about it too much. Have a nice week everyone.

Thanks Kass, Jazzy and Fran.

Salut!! Wow!!

Have fun!

Awww congrats on finishing all your classes, good luck with your final projects. My friend also saw Harry Potter and is more of a fan to the books, she was abit disappointed that it didnt cover important things from the novel. Atleast she thought. I use to be babysat as a kid, I loved it. Extra money is great. Christmas isnt far away now.

WOW, 92hrs, that is a long time!!!. Very long. I would have to go outside or something. I spent the weekend cleaning my room and it was like delayed spring-cleaning. It was nice. By the way, my Greymatter blog isnt working, so its not that I'm not blogging, my GM just doesnt work at the moment. Im trying to fix it or find another blogger... the one you use seems cool!. jac xxx

Oops, I forgot say, congrats on having plans with the guy, hope everything goes awesome. ;) I am in the midst of meeting a new guy too, wish me all the luck. ;) jac xxx
