My Gilmore Girls website is being overlooked by Google. I was wondering why my visitor number had dropped lately. It's almost dropped by half. Previously, if one typed Gilmore Girls or "Gilmore Girls" on Google, my website would be the first or second one on Page 2 of the results. Now, nothing. To find my website, you have to type Gilmore Memories, which is not very practical. It's probably due to the recent switch of eFanGuide to Hollywood.com. Every eFanGuide address now changes to its equivalent on Hollywood.com automatically. My website's entry on Google was the eFanGuide address. It had seniority, because I had been on that same address for 3 years. But now that the eFanGuide entry is no longer on Google, my website is falling into the unknown, which is sad.

I love my website, I put a lot of time and effort into it. However, in this big sea that is the web, it's hard to get noticed. Especially if you are being overlooked by the "web-god" Google. I'm looking into word-of-mouth techniques to attract more visitors. I'm hoping for things to pick up soon. I have loyal visitors, which is great. It makes the Forum more intimate, because we all know each other. I have a new project (still) in the works for the website, so hopefully once it's online, I'll be able to draw a new clientele.

Salut! C'est trop plate que tu aies perdu ton "ancienneté" sur Google à cause du changement d'adresse! J'imagine qu'il te faudra compter davantage sur tes affiliates pour attirer de nouveaux visiteurs... Et je me demande vraiment quel est ce nouveau projet...j'ai bien hâte de le voir! ;) J'aimerais vraiment participer davantage au forum, mais comme je ne regarde pas les nouveaux episodes, je ne peux pas entrer dans les "heated conversations" (lol), et mes posts sont un peu "nowhere", quand je commente sur un episode que vous avez vu il y a un an lol... Mais j'aime bien ton forum, tout le monde est respectueux des autres, et les "posters" font souvent des commentaires intelligents qui me font réfléchir... ;)

Allô Kass. Je suis très satisfaite des utilisateurs du Forum. Ils sont très matures dans leurs propos. Certains d'entre eux ont dans la 30aine. C'est différent. Ça rend les conversations plus profondes et intéressantes. Les gens discuttent beaucoup les personnages. C'est domage que tu ne peux pas voir les nouveaux épisodes. J'ai vu que tu écris quand même assez souvent. J'essais toujours d'aller répondre à tes messages et commentaires. mais dernièrement j,ai moins eu de temps. Bonne semaine a toi aussi!

Oh man thats a pain that it has happened... I have found for some odd reasons my sites aren't usually at the top of the list when searched in Google despite them having short names, and having the exact word phrases in them, even with meta tags. I am never sure why or whats going on.

I hope your link climbs it's way back up to the top. :) You should register your site on starpages.net or those voting ones... that gives them a fair bit of exposure as well. And more affiliates is great. You have a few now which is great! ;) I can't wait to see what the secret project is.

Life is going great for me at the moment, however I am in the middle of exchanging internet accounts so I haven't had the internet on properly at home, so no blogs or anything to put up but soon it'll be all back to normal. I hope. I hope you have a good week and I emailed you today about the tribute, no rush but just letting you know. ;)
