As time goes by...
5/23/2007 12:00:00 PM

What a year it's been. I've officially graduated from Teacher's College (Formation à l'enseignement) -- I get my diploma on June 6. My last placement, in grade 5, went well. I learned a lot. This group of 31 children wasn't easy, so it's the best learning experience. I've been substituting a little since classes ended.

I was in Cuba two weeks ago. It was my first trip south and my first experience with an all inclusive resort. I loved it. I travelled with my boyfriend and his family. The weather was nice the whole week we were there, and the beach... oh the beach!

I'm doing a mega spring cleaning in my room. I went through every piece of clothing I own and got rid of a lot of things, enough to fill two large garbage bags. I was due, my closet and my dressers were passed their capacity. It feels good to get rid of things. Now my room is a war zone. Everything has been moved around. We also got our windows changed, so my curtains aren't even back on. It's a work in progress... I'm slowly going through the boxes under my bed.

Gilmore Girls had its series finale. As the season went on, I was hoping it would be the last one, because the show wasn't what it used to be. I felt obligated to watch it because, after all, it's Gilmore Girls. But I didn't want recent episodes to ruin the opinion I had about the show. Luckily, episodes got extremely good at the end of the season. A couple even made me cry. Nothing compared to the amazing series finale, that made my chin shake for about 20 minutes. What a treat! It's sad to admit that it's over. But I'm glad it ended on such a high note. Of course my website will remain online. It's purpose is even clearer now: keep the magic of Gilmore Girls alive. I've experienced some problems with my host lately, that did an upgrade of the forum and lost a ton of my topics. I lost some loyal users along the way unfortunately. But things are slowly going back to normal and everything should be in order by the middle of the summer.

So here it is, my most recent post in the last 3 moths or so. I've been so busy, I didn't even have the time to come here and write. Well, actually I wasnted many hours on Facebook. I'm considering closing my account there, it's too invasive and takes away many precious hours, because it's so addictive. lol. I've also been watching the show Scrubs. I love it. I had only seen two episodes before. So I started form the beginning and am now two thirds into the third season.

A big hello goes to my host Rachel and my online friend Jazzy.

Welcome back to the blogging world! :) It's good to catch-up and hear what you've been up to. What was Cuba like? I just recently got my own site back up, I had problems with the domain server but I have a new server now and it's all sorted. I want to say, Congratulations on graduating! That's a huge achievement to make! Well done!

Yes it was sad to hear that Gilmore Girls has ended. I haven't seen the finale yet but I will eventually. I just most recently got Season Six on dvd which was cool! I ofcourse plan on collecting the entire set! I love your GG website and am glad it's staying online! I also have to give you my site on Mackenzie Rosman's new URL address, I just got the site a new domain and so I hope to open it up on the 30th May. I have designed a new layout for it too.

Anyhow all I have been doing is working, saving money, I don't even go out to pubs anymore, just save to travel places with my bf. I think we'd both know now that it's amazing to experience new places with your bf. ;) Makes great for photos too! I should go now, I have already rambled on a bit but I wish you luck in spring-cleaning your bedroom, I love doing it myself and just recently put up some long-awaited curtains, it's looking and feeling much better. ;)

Haha yeah, it was a long time that I had problems with my old domain server, Im glad it's fixed now. Oh yeah, it's good to have the curtains up now aswell! I still cannot believe it took me that long to do it! Oh I hate ironing too, luckily my work shirt is of a material that doesn't need ironing much. LOL. Oh I didn't know Nickelback were canadian but I love them! Every one of their albums, I love all their songs, they did a gig in Sydney earlier this year but I wasnt able to go which was disappointing but next time I hope to go and see them, yup, I love going to concerts. I bet your BF will love going to theirs! ;) That is a cool gift to give to him. Outdoor concerts are better too, more air, haha.

Yup, Nelly Furtado is very popular here, she kind of always was (even before her latest album) and Nickelback are also extremely popular here. A lot of people like bands like that, I love that sort of rock. Nelly F has been a fave of mine for years, way back when she brought out her first album. :)

What Australian bands/artists do you like? I love the veronicas, jet, wolfmother and a few others.

Congrats for graduating. HAHA, Im just about to watch Gilmore Girls, I have no idea what season we are on though... (AUS) I used to love it, but have slowly watched less and less... ah well as for scrubs MAD! Love it, funny as, keep watching.
